Cind, with technology from Saab, has been named county winner in Jönköping in Stiftelsen Skapa's innovation award. It is the second prestigious appointment during the year for the newly started Jönköpingsbolaget, which has already established itself as a leading supplier to the Swedish forest industry.
Cind AB is a start-up company that has developed a system that drastically streamlines volume and compensation measurement within the forest industry. Earlier this year, it was named one of the winners on the 33 list, one of Sweden's most prestigious awards for young technology companies. Now the company has once again been recognized for its innovative technology and competitive product by becoming the county winner in Jönköping for Stiftelsen Skapa's innovation award. The national final is held in Stockholm where Cind is competing for big prize money.
Our equipment means great efficiency gains in volume measurement, which they stora the forest industries realize. It is a fantastic example of how to apply advanced military technology in new innovative products. Being able to represent Jönköping County in the Skapa award is an honor and a sign that we are on the right track. says CTO Anders Nyberg.
The company has had a rocket start with 15 signed agreements with most major Swedish forest industries in less than a year of operation. I think such a response from an otherwise traditional industry is unique for a startup company and a fantastic verification of our product, says CEO Marcus Schelin. Now we are taking the company to the next level with further development of our product portfolio and internationalization in 2018.
The equipment uses stereo camera technology from Saab to measure with great precision the volume of, for example, pulpwood lasses or individual logs. The benefit of this technology is to be able to very quickly measure the exact volume of pulpwood directly on the truck. The business model is based on Cind renting out and maintaining the systems, which minimizes the effort from the customer.
[Jönköping & Malmö] – This partnership aims to set the standard for the logistics industry by integrating Cind's advanced data collection capabilities with Cargo-Planner's algorithms to perform load planning within seconds.
Just nu letar vi efter en erfaren och passionerad Chief Sales Officer som är redo att bli en nyckelspelare i vårt internationella expansionsteam.
